KICKING A DEAD HORSE

My first moving image piece, Kicking a Dead Horse, follows Alec, a passionate fisherman, as he pursues his love for the craft. The film explores his dedication, routine, and the quiet moments that reveal his connection to the water and the art of fishing. Through observational cinematography, I aimed to capture the authenticity of Alec’s practice, presenting a reflective and intimate portrait of someone fully immersed in what they love.
